Counselor
The mission of the Counseling Department is to build a comprehensive developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. Programs developed by the Counseling Department will be driven by the unique ethnic, cultural, and economic diversity of the entire student population with the end goal of removing barriers to student learning and encouraging achievement at the highest level for each student. Through a partnership with students, educators, parents, and the community, the Counseling Department will prepare students academically and socially to be productive members and leaders of society.

Hi! I am Kristi Meyers and I absolutely love being your School Counselor! This is Year 15 for me here at Manning Oaks Elementary! I am a widow and live in Cumming with my 3 kids and 4 cats and a dog. Danylo is 19 and a Sophomore at UNG, Antonina is 16 and a Junior at Denmark, and Dylan is 10 and in 5th grade here at MOE. I love to recharge my energy out in nature- camping, gardening, walking my dopey dog and lounging at the pool. When the cold hits (you know, anything below 50) I love to devour books and crochet and paint and bedazzle everything around me. Truly, I am so thankful to be a part of this amazing community and love to help and support our students and families!
